SH CH BITCON TROUBADOR x SHENMORE STARLET (JW)

This was Katie, our first "star". She had a wonderful temperament, loved showing off & was undoubtedly our "dog of a lifetime". Some of the highlights of her show career included:-

10 CCs & 9 RCCS (2 of her RCCs being won at Crufts & The Cocker Spaniel Club Ch Show)
RBIS Gundog of Wales Championship Show 1995
Runner-Up Cocker of the Year & Top Cocker Bitch 1995
CC winner (her 10th) as a Veteran at London Cocker Ch Show1999 (see photo below), a wonderful achievement as CCs are rarely won by Cocker Veterans!

As well as being a wonderful show dog, Katie was also a super Mum to her 2 litters. Her first litter included our Shenmore Star Voyager, sire of Symbiosis Star Sign At Shenmore JW , Dut Ch Symbiosis Star Struck & other Championship show winners.

Katie retired from the show ring in 2001 although she did make one final appearance in the wonderful Parade of Champions at the Cocker Club Centenary Show 2002 where she showed she had lost none of her old "sparkle" & enjoyed herself immensely! Sadly we lost Katie in August 2003 - she leaves a gap at Shenmore which can never be filled. Goodbye Katie & thank you so much for sharing your life with us & giving us so many wonderful memories to look back on.
