This is Hugo, pictured at 17 months old. He is a son of our blue girl Shayla and is showing a lot of promise for the future, qualifying for Crufts at his very first show (London Cocker Championship Show) under breed specialist Jennifer LLoyd-Carey and again at his second show, LKA. At only his 5th show, Hugo was Best Puppy Dog at Crufts 2013 under breed specialist, Joanna Darby followed by BPD & RBPIS at Cheshire Cocker Ch Show. At just over 12 months old, he won his first RCC at Three Counties Ch Show under breed specialist Jinty Gill-Davies followed by his second RCC at Windsor Ch under breed specialist Michael Parkinson. He has recently won sufficient points for his Junior Warrant despite being quite lightly shown. 2014 continues Hugo's success in the show ring despite being very lightly shown, with a win in Yearling Dog at Crufts (as well as being shortlisted for the CC) and numerous other class wins at Championship shows. Sadly despite his numerous successes, Hugo decided the show ring was not for him and so we made the decision to retire him in 2015- he is now happily living as a much loved companion with his new family in the Cotswolds
