2007

  • December 8: LKA CH Show. Rhia (Stars Go Blue) was 3rd in Minor Puppy Bitch (Judge: Mr D Telford).
  • December 1: London Cocker Ch Show. Jimmy (Sunny Jim) was 2nd in Yearling Dog (Judge: Mrs A Daniels). Rhia unfortunately went slightly lame in the ring so couldn't be placed in her class although the judge (Mrs F Somerfield) kindly gave her several chances to move.
  • November 17: Coventry Cocker Club Ch Show. Jimmy won Yearling Dog and Rhia won a nice 2nd in Minor Puppy Bitch. Judges were Catherine Jacquier-Graveleau from France and Liz Cartledge. We were particularly pleased with Jimmy who has been a slow maturer and so consequently has only been lightly shown but he is now coming to his best and so hopefully will be seen at a few more shows now.
  • October 29: Midland Cocker Open Show. Rhia won Minor Puppy Bitch under Fred Hawkins (Grovern)
  • October 28: Solid Colours Cocker Ch Show. Jimmy was placed 2nd in Yearling Dog & Rhia was 4th in Minor Puppy Bitch. Judges were Phylis Wise & Elinor Millard
  • October 20: South Wales & Mon Cocker Club Open Show. Our new blue roan baby Rhia (Stars Go Blue) went to her first show at just over 6 months old and won Minor Puppy Bitch, followed by BIS and BPIS (Judge: Mr A Brace). What an exciting start to this young lady's show career!
  • September 19: A very sad day at Shenmore as we had to say goodbye to our beautiful black & white girl, Lily (Snowdrop). Her loss has hit us all hard as she was such a huge personality and leaves a big gap here. Sleep tight Lil - you gave so much and will be sadly missed.
  • July 15: Jimmy (Sunny Jim) & Cherry (Suddenly Sunshine) both gained 3rd placings in large, competitive classes at The Cocker Spaniel Club Championship Show (total entry 430 dogs).
  • July 7: South Wales KA Ch Show. Jimmy was 3rd in Graduate dog, his first show for some months as we have not been able to attend many shows this year due to work and family commitments.
  • April 14: Siani has had a lovely litter of 5 pups sired by the young blue dog, Sh Ch Lindridge Ticket To Ride. We are keeping a promising blue bitch puppy, Shenmore Stars Go Blue, who will hopefully make her show debut later in the Autumn.
  • March 15: Good news from Antagene received today - both our youngsters, Suddenly Sunshine & Sunny Jim have tested Normal/Clear for FN
  • January 22: Good news from Optigen received today - Shenmore Star Voyager, Sh Ch Caefardre Caprice At Shenmore and Sh Ch Shenmore Sun Flower JW are all NORMAL for FN (Familial Nephropathy) meaning they can be bred to any dog and will never produce a puppy affected with FN. Since her parents have tested as Normal, Shenmore Siani is also genetically Normal. We will be testing Sunny Jim & Suddenly Sunshine as soon as the test is available in Europe (Optigen are only able to offer the FN test for UK dogs previously Optigen tested for prcd-PRA)
  • January 13: Inter Club Match. Jimmy (Shenmore Sunny Jim) was Best Puppy In Match, representing N Midlands and Eastern Counties Cocker Club. Judge: Mr P Taylor
